These days it seems everywhere you turn in the United Kingdom you see a flashing neon sign declaring CBD for sale. There is certainly a good reason for it, and it really does stand up to all the hype. CBD has become one of the most popular ways people of all walks of life are improving their daily lives. Just the simple incorporation of CBD in any of its forms can work wonders. Today I am going to be explaining to you about different ways you can enjoy powerful JustCBD products, the difference between full spectrum CBD oil and standard CBD oil and hopefully answer questions.

CBD Gummies

CBD infused gummies are exactly what they are named, the fun tasty treat that you are used to snacking on since your childhood but now infused with CBD oil. If you are a beginner to CBD edibles, this might be the easiest way for you to start as hemp gummies are a safe, fast and fun way to take CBD. For example, one of the greatest online CBD stores in the UK, JustCBD, offers a dosage range in their gummies from 8mg to 25mg a piece. This way once you have come up with the dosage that works best for you then you can order to your preference.

The CBD infused gummies also come in a very wide variety of flavours and sizes. It is important to note that the sizes are usually based on the total amount of CBD mg in the bottle. These numbers go from 250mg jar to a CBD-infused gummies 3,000mg party pack. The flavours come in all of your favourite ones from your childhood ranging from rainbow gummy bears and sour worms to peach rings and gummy cherries. For those with special diets you can find sugar free gummies and even vegan gummies.

Before we move on from our delicious gummy treats, we need to talk about THC Gummies. Currently Delta-8 THC is not legal in the UK although CBD products with no more than 0.2% THC (Delta-8 or Delta-9) are legal. With this distinction, Delta-8 is in a grey area, so while we are aware of the THC gummies that are made and sold in the US we will pass over them for this article.

CBD Infused Edibles

I decided to separate CBD Gummies from CBD-infused edibles since gummies are so popular and I wanted to be able to focus on other delicious CBD treats. I enjoy honey in my daily cup of tea so when I came across CBD honey sticks, I knew they were for me. Each stick contains 10mg of CBD and they usually come in a box of 10.

Another edible that I like to treat myself to now and again is the MYND Full Spectrum Vegan Dark Chocolate. Each bar is made from 75% organic cacao and contains 23 mg of CBD. The cacao is certified fairtrade. It is a perfect balance of good for the farmers, the workers and my belly.

One of my newest finds that I have not tried yet, but I really want to get my hands on is Bhang CBD Chewing gum.  Each piece of this mint gum contains 25mg of CBD.

As I am sure you have guessed by now there are many, many, many CBD products out there that are only limited to how much you search. But the final one I wanted to mention is not a specific product at all. It is whatever you want to make at home. You can add CBD to your own treats at home. It is recommended that you purchase CBD Isolate as it is stripped away of everything but the CBD. This will mix the best with whatever concoction you are whipping up in the kitchen.

CBD Oil Tincture

CBD tincture is the second most popular way to enjoy the benefits of CBD. What makes it a tincture oil and not just plain old CBD oil is that it is blended with natural oils (coconut) to make it more palatable. CBD oil by itself is not that tasty. Generally, tinctures are sold in 30mL bottles that contain a very easy to use dropper as the top. All you need to do is squeeze the dropper to fill it to your desired level. There are measurement markings on the dropper and ingest.

Now here is the fun part: there are actually three ways for you to take it. The quickest and most potent way is to put the CBD oil under your tongue and hold it there for 30-60 seconds. This allows the CBD elements to be absorbed into your body right away. The second way for you to take it is by just swallowing it. It will be absorbed through your digestive tract.

The third way is to add the oil to any food or drink that you like. Either way you will start to feel the soothing effects in no time.

Full Spectrum CBD Oil Tincture

While we are looking at CBD oil tinctures now would be the right time to explain the difference with full spectrum CBD oil in the UK. When the hemp plant is being processed ‘full spectrum’ refers to the fact that they are using the entire hemp plant and all of its elements and not just the CBD. Confused? There are many different cannabinoids in the hemp plant and by using them all you end up with the dynamic soothing power that gives what is referred to as the “entourage” effect. The most important thing you should know about full spectrum is that it does contain a small amount of THC. To be legal, this number must be not more than 0.2%. While this number is not enough to make you feel “high” it is possible that it could be seen in a blood or urine test.

CBD Topical

Why don’t we switch from the most popular to my personal favourites – CBD topicals. The term CBD topical refers to a CBD cream, roll on or gel that has been infused with hemp grown CBD that you apply directly to your skin.

With my skin type, I use moisturisers daily so if I am able to mix in a dosage of CBD in my regular routine even better. The webstore I mentioned earlier has a wonderful Ultra Relief CBD gel that I used while on a long drive across the American west. All of those hours holding onto the steering wheel started to ache my fingers and hands but the Ultra Relief gel really helped.

Other types of topicals include CBD lotion that comes in strawberry champagne, aloe or lavender scents. You can even get different dosage in each bottle. They also sell CBD heat relief roll pain cream, heat relief pain cream, roll on freeze cream and CBD massage oil that also contains sunflower oil, cinnamon extract and ginger.

CBD Vape Cartridges

CBD vapes are one of the easiest and convenient ways to experience CBD in the UK. Plus it is completely legal. One of the advantages of CBD vape cartridges is the sheer volume of flavours and scents that are out there.

There is a scent for every taste. Looking at the selection at JustCBD’s vape section you can see the care and craftsmanship in the creation of their flavours. One of the most popular ones, Pineapple Express, is described on their site as: “energizing and uplifting, Pineapple Express leaves you feeling both alert, and like a slab of butter on a stack of pancakes. This fantastic strain will leave ready to whistle while you work once more. And with notes of fresh apple and mango, it’s summertime all year round.”

Helensburgh Advertiser:

Note that just like many of the other CBD products in the UK, vape cartridges do come in different doses of CBD so you can get the correct level for your comfort.

One noteworthy thing is that different cartridges might fit different vape pens. So, make sure the ones that you are buying are able to be used in your existing pen or you might just want to pick up a new one at the same shop. That way you definitely know that you won’t have an issue when it arrives.

By now I hope you feel like you have a solid understanding of CBD items in the UK and what might work best for your life. Below I have put together a group of questions and answers to cover some of what might have been missed above.

FAQs

Where should I buy my CBD products?

This is the most popular question that I get, and it is one of the easiest questions to answer. While I have no idea who is running the petrol station around the corner from your flat, I certainly don’t know where they are getting their products from and can even guess if they are authentic. That is why I always suggest you purchase your CBD online.

Anthony M. Cianfrano, a well-respected quality control manager at a large CBD manufacturer, says: “Quality product is achieved through the rigors of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and documentation of these systems. A quality lab will have their products tested by a third party to show the purity of the items.” That’s why. If the website is willing to provide the documentation of the products they are selling then I have no issue buying from them. I have found that is not the case at your neighborhood store selling CBD behind the plastic divider.

Why should I add CBD to my daily routine?

There have been many benefits that have been reported by CBD users and that list includes, relieving aches and pains, reducing inflammation, reduction of muscle spasms, relieves anxiety and depression and can even assist in sleep. These reasons and more are why Dr. Dimitri Novitzky, a thoracic surgeon for over 20 years, has been a strong proponent in the inclusion of natural hemp products relieving many of our most nagging physical and mental obstacles.

Can I use CBD Cream on my face?

As long as you are purchasing your CBD lotion from a reputable store there is no reason you cannot use the cream on your face. When I posed this question to dermatologist Anastasia Filipenko, she responded with a resounding “Yes.” She stated: “With CBD’s help in reducing inflammation, I recommend to many of my visitors the usage of CBD cream not only on their face but all over their body.” Hydrating the skin with creams is also a wonderful and important part of not only helping our skin stay healthy but keeping the aging process at bay. As the skin dries it is the start of the wrinkle process. The longer you can hold that off the better your skin will shine.
