The first of this season’s art workshops at Geilston Garden in Cardross, organised by the Friends of Geilston, was led by local artist Carol Moore on Wednesday, June 15.

The garden provided a range of aspects from which the amateur artists could draw inspiration, with Carol providing guidance based on her wide experience.

A spokesperson for the Friends said: “It was a wonderful sunny day and the tranquil atmosphere of the garden contributed to an overall ambience of calm creativity.”

The Friends’ next art workshop will be led by Julia Gurney on Wednesday, September 14. See the Friends of Geilston website for further details.
