Police responded to reports of a woman in distress
SPITTING on and struggling with police officers near Luss campsite led to a woman being detained.
Police attended at 6pm on June 19, following reports of a woman in distress. They traced the 34-year-old to a nearby hotel, where she allegedly started being abusive, reportedly spitting in the face of one officer.
Police arrested and restrained the woman but she allegedly continued to abuse officers.
She was charged with police assault and resisting arrest and has been reported to the fiscal.
