ARROCHAR Mountain Rescue Team was called out on Tuesday (June 28) to assist a person who got into difficulty whilst crossing a swollen river.
The person was first noticed by passing employees of SSE, who had been out checking on some hydro dams in the area, and was helped to safety.
Dunoon police officers then ensured the person was transported back home safely.
Others who may be spending time in the outdoors are now being reminded to be careful when walking or camping in wet weather.
In a Facebook post, Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team said: “If you are travelling in or around the mountains during periods of wet weather, please be aware that the usual stream crossings may well become unpassable and camping spots near rivers - those convenient flat spots - can flood, sometimes very rapidly. Stay safe people.”
