The Drumfork Community Centre will host the Forces Family Friday event on August 12
A NEW series of social evenings for armed forces personnel and their families in Helensburgh is set to begin next month.
The first Forces Family Friday event will be held at the Drumfork Community Centre in the town on Friday, August 12.
The volunteer-run event will run from 7pm until 9.30pm and will feature a children’s entertainer, a meat raffle, a toy raffle and for the adults a game of bingo.
There will also be a bar and tuck shop.
The August 12 event, and future Forces Family Friday evenings, will be open to serving forces personnel, veterans and their families.
