A Helensburgh supermarket has revealed more plans for its Superhero Carnival which is set to take place next month.

The Ghostbusters of Glasgow will be in attendance at the event run by Morrisons on Saturday, August 20.

The group is made up of people who love all things Ghostbusters and enjoy cosplaying as the characters, whilst also raising awareness and money for good causes in and around Glasgow.

On the day, children will be able to see a fire engine from the Heritage Trust, the Royal Navy bomb disposal squad, and a Helensburgh police car.

Taylor’s Pleasure Fairground Rides will also be attending the carnival, as well as singers from Matinee at the Musicals.

A raffle will be held in aid of CHAS, and there will be stalls held by local charities.

The carnival will take place in the store’s car park from 10am-3pm, and those attending are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero.

The car park will also remain open for customers who will be able to shop safely.
