Residents of Argyll and Bute are being given the opportunity to make their homes more energy efficient free of charge.
The council has received over £2million of funding from the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficient Scotland: Area Based Scheme.
The programme can offer grants of between £8,000 and £21,000 per household to help people make a range of improvements to their properties, such as wall and underfloor insulation.
Councillor Robin Currie, policy lead for housing, said: “Fuel poverty is a real concern and, with heating costs expected to rise even further in October, I would urge people to take advantage of this scheme while it is available and get in touch to see how it could benefit them.”
