The resident behind Rosneath Events has announced the venture has come to an end.

Autumn Brown started the project in the first Covid lockdown to try give the community “a little positivity”.

Since then, she has organised events and activities for children and families in the area, as well as fundraisers to support those affected by the war in Ukraine.

In a Facebook post, she said: “After taking a few months off, I have decided that I am left with no choice but to close Rosneath Events.

“Fortunately, lockdown is now over and most things have returned to normality - the community council, groups, and other organisations et. - therefore there is no longer a need for Rosneath Events.

“Thank you to those that have volunteered and supported me, and thank you for all the wonderful friendships I have made as a result.”
