THE Christmas story was told in the great outdoors at the weekend, as Helensburgh Baptist Church’s Nativity in the Square returned.
Held on Saturday, December 3, the event featured a nativity play and carol singing in Colquhoun Square, as well as the much-anticipated return of Elise the donkey.
After the telling of the story and the festivities had drawn to a close, everyone present was invited back for hot drinks and mince pies.
The event was one of myriad festive events to take place in the town in the build-up to Christmas, offering an opportunity for people to reflect on the Christmas message.
