Weekly walking football sessions are now under way in Helensburgh - and they are free until the end of the year.
Helensburgh Football Club’s sessions run every Wednesday at Hermitage Academy’s Games Hall, starting at 7.15pm.
The group is designed for those over 50, but is open to anyone who feels they are no longer able to keep up with the traditional 11- or 5-a-side game.
The rules are the same as a usual game of football, but instead no running is allowed.
On social media they said: “If you’ve been thinking about giving it a go this is your opportunity. Try out some of the skills you’ve been watching [on the World Cup] these past few days.”
To register your interest or for more information about the walking sessions, contact Sam Gemmell on 07738 953810.
