RESIDENTS across Cove and Kilcreggan are being invited to have their say on the future of the area, following the launch of a new survey.

Titled Our Community, the project aims to gather the views and opinions of as many people as possible in and around Cove and Kilcreggan.

Alistair Lamont, chair of the Our Community steering group and member of the Rosneath Peninsula West Community Development Trust, said: “We want Our Community to reflect the views and opinions of as many people as possible so that all our needs are heard and prioritised to help build a well-considered plan and enable a strong link to future place planning.

“It should only take ten minutes of your time, but will really help understand your needs, any concerns, and future priorities and visions for Cove and Kilcreggan.”

The aim of the local place plan is to ensure a sustainable future for Cove and Kilcreggan in terms of its economy, infrastructure, housing, recreation, transport, public services and response to climate change.

It is also hoped to recognise the importance of the peninsula’s heritage, for the benefit of the whole community.

The survey can be accessed online here, and paper copies will be delivered to all homes in Cove and Kilcreggan.

Complete the survey by Febuary 10, 2023 and return paper copies to Cove Burgh Hall or Kilcreggan Post Office.
