THEATRE lovers in Helensburgh are being invited to make the short trip to Dumbarton for a parody of the famous novel The 39 Steps next month.
The Dumbarton People’s Theatre group is putting on four performances of Patrick Barlow’s comedy – written in 2005 and adapted from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock – at the Denny Civic Theatre from March 1-4.
Tickets (£5) are available from the Scandinavian Shop in Helensburgh as well as McDermid’s Keystore in Dumbarton.
The doors open each night at 7pm and the curtain goes up at 7.30pm.
