The team was called out due to the low visibility
Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) was called out to assist a hillwalker who found themselves caught in very low visibility last week.
The team, who have chosen to withhold the location of the incident, said the walker made the "right call" to stay put and seek help.
Rescue volunteers were deployed to the hill where they located and walked the casualty back to safety.
Arrochar MRT said: "If you haven’t got the ability to safely navigate in the mountains and visibility drops to nothing, stay where you are and assess what to do.
"If in doubt dial 999 and ask for mountain rescue."
