Tea and coffee was flowing at Gibson Hall recently as the Garelochhead Senior Citizens met for their annual Spring Tea.
The event is the group’s penultimate meeting of their season, which runs from October to March every year.
Hot drinks and cakes were on offer on the day, as well as a raffle and sales table. The event raised a total of £312.76, which will go towards the group’s future activities.
The committee who organised the event said: “Thank you to everyone who supported the day and helped us raise the sum of £312.76.
“Many thanks to those who handed in raffle prizes and baking. The money raised goes towards keeping the club going.”
The club’s last meeting of the season, its AGM, was held on Thursday at Gibson Hall at 2pm. Its next meeting will be on Thursday, October 5.
