Burgh commuters faced a second consecutive morning of train disruption today after moss fell on to overhead power lines at Dalreoch.
Network Rail Scotland said its staff were on their way to the station just before 7am on Wednesday, March 22, due to an "object" on the power lines.
The moss is thought to have fallen off the tunnel wall it was lining above the lines.

The moss caused the lines to short circuit, preventing any trains from running to or from Helensburgh Central for part of the morning.
ScotRail arranged for replacement buses to run between Helensburgh and Dumbarton Central during this time.
The line reopened at 8am, with services now back up and running.
The incident comes after trains were cancelled for much of Tuesday due to a signalling failure between Dalreoch and Cardross.
