The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain in the Helensburgh and Lomond area on Saturday.
The weather warning is in place from 3am until noon on Saturday, August 19.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Heavy rain brings the potential for some disruption on Saturday morning.
"Bus and train services probably affected with journeys taking longer, with the possibility of cancellations.
"There is also a possibility of spray and flooding on roads probably making journeys longer.
"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is also possible."
The warning zone stretches south-west from Aberdeenshire across the country towards Arran and Kintyre.
According to the latest Met Office forecast for Helensburgh, the heaviest of the rain in the area is expected between 1am and 5am on Saturday.
However, showers are expected to persist for much of the rest of the day, with sunnier spells and possibly some heavy showers in the late afternoon and early evening.
