Two Scottish star chefs will be visiting Loch Lomond to share their culinary knowledge as a popular free food and drink festival returns.

Winner Master Chef UK and Scottish Chef of the Year Tony Singh will join Master Chef UK 2016 contestant and Cameron House chef Rohan Wadke for Loch Lomond Shores’ Food and Drink Festival.

The event will be held across the weekend of Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 where visitors can see the celeb chefs give demonstrations as well as take cooking classes and enjoy whisky and gin tastings courtesy of Loch Lomond Whiskies and Ben Lomond Gin.

Street food from around the world, live entertainment from Lomond Radio, buskers, and children’s rides will also be on offer.

Loch Lomond Shores’ marketing and events manager, Audrey Calder, said: “We’re excited to have Rohan and Tony at this year’s festival for free cooking demonstrations.

“Both are incredibly talented and offer a wonderful opportunity to festivalgoers to watch and learn from the experts so they can hone their own cooking talents.

“It’s also great to welcome back award-winning Loch Lomond Whiskies with their amazing expert tastings, which are always so popular with our festivalgoers.”

Rohan has held cooking demonstrations during previous festivals and will be showing festival goers how to cook sustainably during his slot on Saturday.

Tony – who is also a cookbook author and regularly appears on TV - is making his debut at the festival where he will host two cooking demonstrations as well as a Q&A on Sunday.
