Music lovers can treat themselves to a performance by a local orchestral group which is set to play a variety of well-known pieces during a concert next month.
The Helensburgh Orchestral Society will take to the stage on Saturday, December 2 at 7.30pm in the town’s Victoria Halls.
The group will play Humperdinck’s Overture and Hansel and Gretel, Dvorak’s The Noon Witch, and Brahm’s 2nd Symphony.
A spokesperson said: “[We are] playing The Noon Witch (rather scary!), Hansel and Gretel, and as a calm, happy contrast - Brahm’s 2nd Symphony, which is uplifting rather than creepy.”
Tickets are available at the door or can be bought from members, in the Scandinavian Shop, or at Destination Helensburgh.
Spaces cost £12.50 for adults, £6 for students, and are free for accompanied children under 12.
