Rhu and Shandon honoured local veterans who died in war with a special Remembrance Sunday service last weekend.

The service took place at the Rhu and Shandon War Memorial, with prayers led by Andrew Nisbet of Rhu and Shandon Church.

Poppy wreaths were laid by Irene Hudson of Rhu and Shandon Church, Deputy Lord Lieutenant Mike Edwards, and Tim Henderson of Argyll and Bute Council who presented the wreath on behalf of Provost Maurice Corry.
