Christmas is just around the corner and that means Santa and his elves are working extra hard to make everyone’s holiday wishes come true.
In anticipation of the big day, we spoke to local children to find out what they asked Santa for and what they’re most looking forward to.
From opening their dream presents and spending time with family, here’s what pupils from John Logie Baird Primary School told us they're hoping to find in their stocking on Christmas Day.
Clara, P5/4, said: “I want makeup, a tie dye kit, and a Clawdine Wolf doll from Monster High – I’m, obsessed with it!
“We usually spend Christmas at my gran’s and all my cousins come round.”
Robyn, P6/5, said: “I’m looking forward to my nana coming over and playing with new presents.
“I’m hoping Santa will bring me Pokémon things.”
Calum, P7, said: “I asked for a PC and I’m hoping to get a new football. I’m looking forward to opening my presents.”
Aizah, P2/1, said: “I’m hoping to get a Barbie tent and Barbie camper.
"I’m excited to spend time with my family and playing with my brother.”
Tristan, P3/2, said: “I’ve asked Santa for a new bike because my last one broke.
“It will be nice to spend time with my family.”
It’s clear there’s loads of excitement for all the festive fun in store next week and we’re sure Santa and his elves will make sure everyone has a happy Christmas.
Let us know what you and your family are most looking forward to this festive season!
