Helensburgh Advertiser: In January we caught up with Helensburgh woman Kathleen Young as she prepared to sell her shop – Fancy Fillings in West Clyde Street – and head to Poland to volunteer to help Ukrainian refugees. Kathleen was planning to join the All Hands On Hearts charity at its site in Jaroslaw, close to Ukraine’s western border. She told us: “I think, sadly, they need me more than people need a roll and sausage. I just want to do something worthwhile before I get too old.”In January we caught up with Helensburgh woman Kathleen Young as she prepared to sell her shop – Fancy Fillings in West Clyde Street – and head to Poland to volunteer to help Ukrainian refugees.
