Seniors in the Helensburgh and Lomond area are invited to join a social group’s next event taking place this week.
The Garelochhead Senior Citizens Club will meet on Thursday, February 1 in the village’s Gibson Hall from 2pm to 4pm.
A speaker from Age Scotland will be there to give a talk on the charity’s work while there will also be a raffle, free refreshments, and the chance to enjoy a chatting with group members.
The club is open to locals aged 55 and over and gives seniors a chance to socialise and make friends at the meetings held on the first and third Thursday of each month.
Membership costs £5 and gives access to all meetings until the end of the season as the group runs from October to March.
