Drivers are being warned about potential disruption on a major road this weekend due to the weather forecast.
The local area has been issued a yellow weather warning for rain this weekend with flooding and transport disruptions expected.
The alert will be in place throughout Helensburgh and Lomond from 5pm on Sunday, February 4, until 9pm on Monday, February 5.
It is expected that the heavy rain will lead to a risk of flooding and some transport disruption on Monday morning.
As a precaution, Bear Scotland has announced that the Old Military Road local diversion route from the Rest and Be Thankful will be prepared overnight on Sunday.
Diversion of traffic onto the Old Military Road will be subject to further review of forecast and conditions and an update will be issued if use of Old Military Road is required.
The road management firm has confirmed that the team will be present on-site and will monitor conditions throughout the weekend.
