TRAINS on the West Highland route via Helensburgh Upper are being disrupted after a fallen tree blocked the railway.
Trains linking Glasgow with Oban, Fort William and Mallaig were cancelled or delayed after the tree fell on to the line near Arrochar and Tarbet station.
Network Rail said it had sent a chainsaw team to the site to remove the blockage and that replacement buses had been requested.
⚠️There's a tree on the line near Arrochar & Tarbet on the West Highland Line. The line is currently blocked. We'll get a chainsaw team over to remove it as soon as possible.

The ScotRail page at JourneyCheck.com advised at 11.20am that the tree had been removed and the line reopened.
However, services on all the train operator's West Highland routes remain subject to disruption throughout Friday because of high winds on the west coast.
ScotRail says journey times will be extended as a safety precaution, while several services on the route have been cancelled.
The following services on the West Highland line will be replaced by buses on Friday: 1036 Glasgow-Oban, 1441 Oban-Glasgow, 1634 Glasgow-Oban, 2039 Oban-Glasgow.
