A MAN has been arrested in connection with an allegation of assault on Helensburgh's seafront at the weekend.
Police say the 40-year-old was arrested after officers were called to an incident on West Clyde Street.
The incident is alleged to have happened at around 12.50am on Saturday, February 17.
According to police the man is the subject of a report for assault and for threatening or abusive behaviour.
He was released to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
