Jobseekers in Argyll and Bute can apply for two jobs which are on offer with CalMac in the area – but applications are closing soon.
The ferry company is looking for two port assistants – with one position in Oban and another in Gallanach – and applications are closing on Friday, February 23.
Both jobs pay £13.01 per hour with successful applicants required to work 20 hours per week on a seasonal contract from April to October.
The customer facing role will involve ticket sales, printing and distribution, customer interaction, cash handling, and data entry.
Port assistants work a varied shift pattern, which includes weekends, bank holidays, and evenings with some early morning starts.
The Oban port is open from 4.30am to 11.30pm while the Gallanach port is functional from 8.20am to 6pm.
