An Oban pensioner with an “adventurous spirit” was filled with “immense joy” after he embarked on his first ever flight.
Herbert Walker, a resident of Eadar Glinn Residential Home, was given a chance to hop aboard a flight at Oban Airport and achieve one of his lifelong dreams.
A representative from the Argyll and Bute health and social care partnership said: “Herbert recently had the wonderful opportunity to fulfil his wish of going on a flight.
“The experience brought him immense joy, and he was fortunate to have the support of the caring staff at Eadar Glinn every step of the way.
“A special shoutout goes to the exceptional team at Oban Airport for their warm welcome and assistance in making Herbert's flight a memorable one.
“With his adventurous spirit ignited, Herbert is eagerly anticipating his next journey, filled with discoveries and exciting experiences.”
