THE Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) has released a statement following a bus crash in Paisley.
We previously reported that a McGill's bus collided with a 15-storey block of flats at Calside.
The SAS has since said three people were taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital and two people were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A range of resources including special operations teams and a trauma team were sent to the scene.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.25pm to attend an incident in Calside, Paisley.
"A range of resources including ambulances, special operations response teams, a trauma team and a critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene.
"Three patients were transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
