Two people were injured after a car left the road near a busy roundabout in Balloch.

Three fire appliances raced to the A82 south of the Stoneymollan roundabout at around 8.30pm on Monday, March 18 following reports of a car leaving the road.

Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed there were two casualties at the scene.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.34pm on Monday, March 18, to reports of a car leaving the road on the A82 at the Stoneymollan roundabout near Balloch.

"Operations Control immediately mobilised three fire appliances, and two casualties were handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
