The 10 talented finalists of Helensburgh’s Got Talent 2024 have been revealed – with the show set to take place next week.

A variety of local acts including bands, poets, and dancers will take to the stage for the final on Thursday, June 20 at 6.30pm in Hermitage Academy.

In running order, the ten finalists are: Singers Miller and Georgia; guitarist Angus Watt; singer Mirren Faith; clarsach player Grace Wardle; singer Blythe Williamson; dancer Senara Kodithuwakku Arachchi; guitarists Christian and Emmett; singer Kavya Kaushal; singer Jenna Erlank; pianist Aiden O’Connor, and drumming group the Bucket.

The judges include Louise Press from Helensburgh Theatre Arts, Pauline Forrest from Helensburgh Savoy, local singer Kirsty McLaren, and musician Ian Thompson.

A spokesperson for Helensburgh’s Got Talent said: “All our judges have experience in dance, theatre, music and more, from many years of performing locally and nationally.

“This will be a fun family event aimed to celebrate and encourage the upcoming talent in the town.”

The event will be compered by Archie Blackburn and William Harrison.

Snacks will be available to buy during the show, but the shop will be cash only.

Tickets cost £3 and are available to buy on the door which will open at 6pm.

The competition is run by the Helensburgh Community Council via their Music in the Square initiative.
