Crowds gathered in Helensburgh for a new festival filled with ‘midsummer magic’ and family entertainment.
A sprinkling of Midsummer Magic came to Colquhoun Square as the town marked the longest day of the year, and it was a huge success for young families in the town.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of street food, funfair rides, activities, and live music as well as browse a variety of market stalls that showcased local crafts and treats.
Children also got to dance with their favourite characters and sing their favourite Disney songs.
The festival was officially opened by the HMS Neptune Volunteer Band followed by local musician John Taylor-Spence to get the festival atmosphere going.
Throughout the day, there was a special guests including Encanto's Mirabel and The Dark Fairy from Wicked with plenty of opportunities for children to take part in singalongs.
The event was organised by the team behind the Winter Festival and Christmas Town programme.
Money raised from the summer event will go toward the 12th event of the annual Winter Festival which organisers say is under threat due to a cut in funding.
The dates of the winter festival have been set for Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 from 10am until 6pm.
In a statement online, the organisers said: "What a day we've had! Thank you to everyone who came along, danced, sang and scoffed tons of amazing food.
"It's all for a good cause, so if you didn't get the chance to donate to keep the festival going this Christmas, you can donate online."
Applications are now open for stall holders and hot food vendors who wish to sell at the event.
