PEOPLE in Helensburgh are being asked to share their views on plans to improve walking, cycling and wheeling routes.
The project, named Helensburgh in Motion, is funded by the Scottish Government's Places for Everyone Grant Programme.
It aims to enhance routes from the town centre to key destinations in the east of Helensburgh, including Hermitage Academy's cycleway.
Argyll and Bute Council is inviting Helensburgh residents, businesses and local organisations to participate in a six-week consultation about the proposed improvements.
Councillor John Armour, the council’s policy lead for roads and transport, said: "This project demonstrates the council’s commitment to improving our communities’ resilience by improving accessibility for everyone and addressing the challenges of climate change through sustainable travel options.
"I would urge everyone affected to engage with this consultation so we can identify their needs to help shape our walking and cycling travel routes."
The consultation ends on Sunday, January 5, 2025. To take part, go to https://pagepark.co.uk/hello/helensburgh-in-motion/.
