FOUR venues in Helensburgh and Lomond will be throwing open their doors to the public next month as part of the Scotland-wide Doors Open Days festival.
Cove Park will be open to the public on Saturday, September 20 between 1.30pm and 3.30pm and the following day between 2pm and 3.30pm.
Fine art photographer and former resident Demelza Kingston is available on the Saturday for workshops, drawing upon her experience of plant-based photography.
Then on Sunday, tickets are available for an in-conversation event with architect Jude Barber and writer Louise Welsh.
They are presenters of the podcast Who Owns the Clyde? and work as co-directors of The Empire Cafe.
Both events are free and refreshments will be provided.
Helensburgh Parish Church is opening its doors to the public from 12-3pm on Saturday, September 20.
There is a self-guided tour leaflet about the church building and stained glass windows.
A quiz trail sheet for children about the windows in the church will be available and a nature trail sheet to find the animals in the building.
Rhu and Shandon Parish Church is also opening its doors once again.
Members of the congregation will be on hand to show visitors around the church and graveyard on Sunday, September 21 from 2.30-4.30pm.
And finally, Jean's Bothy in Helensburgh will also be welcoming the public from 11am until 3pm both days during the festival.
