CREW at Helensburgh's lifeboat were called to help a fisherman in the water last weekend.
The lifeboat was called out by the Coastguard at 2.20pm on Saturday, November 1, to investigate a report of a person in the water near Langbank.
The lifeboat was on the scene within 20 minutes and quickly located the fisherman in waders.
The crew checked to see if he was in any distress and the lifeboat was stood down and returned to the station.
The lifeboat has been called out more than 2,000 times since the station was founded in 1965.
