A FORMER Helensburgh restaurant and cocktail bar has arrived on the market after its sudden closure.
Mi Tierra Grill and Cocktail Bar shut its doors on February 14 after only a year of serving the town, and the owner is now offering potential buyers a lease sale.
The Latin American restaurant and bar opened on the corner of West Clyde Street and John Street in October 2024.
It took over the site of the former award-winning Cattle and Creel and to celebrate its first birthday last year, prepared to open Mi Tierra Patisserie in the former House of Art shop.
However, the owners announced that the tough decision to shut was made after increasing UK Government costs and "rising operational pressures".
The restaurant has now come on to the market with specialist business agents Smith and Clough, who describe Mi Tierra as a "stunning, well fitted, restaurant and bar opportunity".
They added: "Internally, the premises have been designed and fitted to an exacting standard, in a stylish fashion, and with great attention to detail.
"The subjects can accommodate approximately 90 customers internally with a variety of seating options, including the stunning bar area to the front, a split-level stylish dining area to the rear, as well as bar seating and high stools to the rear overlooking the open ‘theatre’ kitchen which is positioned in the centre of the restaurant.
"Our client is willing to offer a fresh, full repairing and insuring (FRI) lease with negotiable terms and duration and are seeking an initial rental of £35,000 per annum."
