A POPULAR village pub which has been described as a "first class venue" has been put up for sale by its landlord.
The Cardross Inn, on Main Road, is now on the market with an asking price of offers in the region of £550,000.
Landlord The Scotsman Group said the sale will include its bar, restaurant, beer garden and five boutique letting bedrooms.

Estate agent Christie and Co, which is marketing the property, said: "The bar and restaurant at the Cardross Inn are very much an example of a cosy traditional Scottish Inn serving modern European and Scottish cuisine, with a strong emphasis on local fresh ingredients.
"The bar has a selection of malts, ales and beers served in traditional but modern bar area.
"Throughout the Inn there has been much thought and design put in, to creating a first class venue.

The business is a hit with locals, and has confirmed to the Advertiser that the sale does not impact the existing tenancy of The Cardross Inn or the team working there.
In a statement they added: "As tenants, we are of course impacted by the numerous industry issues affecting the business, however, we are not looking to make any further statements at the moment.
"The Cardross Inn is a fantastic addition to our group and look forward to being a part of this great community for many years to come."
