ONE of Helensburgh's most historic homes has been acquired by new management.
Camis Eskan House, dating back to 1648, was converted to a residential development nearly 50 years ago.
Now divided into eight flats and three coach houses, it was originally built for the Dennistoun family, who were connected to the Colgrain estate starting in 1351.
Management firm ninetyOne, formerly known as 91BC Property Factors, has now acquired the mansion.
The property was modernised in 1915 by Helensburgh architect Alexander Nisbet Paterson. The government took it over during World War II and used it as a hospital for Polish army casualties. It later had various hospital uses under the former Dunbartonshire County Council.
A three-bedroom apartment in the B-listed mansion was on the market in 2021 for offers over £293,000.
