THE clubhouse of a village golf club has been given a fresh new look as part of an ongoing refurbishment.
Cardross Golf Club has unveiled photos revealing the new decor and carpets of its clubhouse on Main Road.
The work, which was carried out by Woody's Home Improvement and MGB Decor, is the first phase of the refurbishment.
In 2024, the club welcomed the addition of its 9-hole Ardardan course which has allowed it to host regular junior development events while also accommodating players who are new to the game.
In an online statement, which showed the transformation, the club said that it was time that the clubhouse received the "care and attention it deserved".
A spokesperson said: "Every golf club has a story, and ours has been shaped by generations of members who have played, socialised and created lasting memories at Cardross Golf Club.
"For many years, our unique art-deco style clubhouse has been at the heart of that story. While our golf course has continued to evolve and benefit from significant investment, we knew the time had come to give the clubhouse the care and attention it deserved.
"These photographs capture far more than new carpets and decor. They represent our commitment to ensuring that every member, visitor and guest enjoys an experience that matches the quality of the golf course itself."
The club continued: "We want Cardross Golf Club to be somewhere you look forward to visiting. Whether you're relaxing with a well earned refreshment post-game, meeting friends for lunch, celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a coffee. A welcoming clubhouse is every bit as important as great greens and fairways.
"The first phase of this refurbishment is just one part of our ongoing commitment to continually investing in the future of the club, improving both on and off the course, while respecting the traditions and character that make Cardross so special.
"A heartfelt thank you to our members for your patience, encouragement and support throughout the refurbishment. The club continues to grow and evolve because of you, and we're excited about what comes next.
