THE crew of Helensburgh's lifeboat hosted a fun day for their families last weekend.
Relatives got together at Helensburgh Sailing Club for a barbecue and a variety of fun activities.
Youngsters were treated to a bouncy castle, archery, indoor games and lots of goodies while the adults soaked in the brief spells of sunshine.

He said: “It was great to see so many of our crew and their families enjoying the day.
"Our annual fun day is a way of saying a special thank you to our wives, partners and families for their support in helping us save lives at sea.
"When the pager goes off we drop everything leaving our families to cope at home."

"Thanks to Michael, our BBQ chefs and the crew for helping to organise the day and to Helensburgh Sailing Club.
"A special thank you to Nature’s Harvest for their generous donation of a fruit hamper.”

But that isn't the only event in the RNLI Helensburgh calendar this year as the charity's fundraisers have organised a night of bingo with a special twist.
Members of the Helensburgh RNLI fundraising committee are looking forward to a night of fun, but this event will feature fish and chips on the menu.
It is a first of its kind for the group, but organisers hope it will become an annual event to help raise funds for the lifeboat and volunteer crew.

The evening is being held at Helensburgh Sailing Club on Friday, October 2.
The bar opens at 6.45pm and the night kicks off at 7.30pm with a simple supper of fish and chips, or an alternative, and homemade cakes and teas and coffees to follow.
