A HELENSBURGH fusion restaurant has quietly closed its doors a year after opening.
Balneario Restaurant and Café had its grand opening and welcomed its first customers on August 17 last year.
The venue, located in the former Bintang Emas at 60-61 West Clyde Street, combined South Indian and Scottish cuisine.
The Advertiser was first made aware of the closure last month when the Helensburgh Werewolf group told its members it was forced to relocate.
They said: "The Balneario chapter has come to an end, as the restaurant is closing and will no longer be operating.
"We're very grateful for all the evenings and memories we created there."
A month later, its advertising signs are indoors, blinds remain closed and one of the wooden benches outside is broken.
Their social media page has also remained inactive, with its last public post shared in June.
However, the restaurant hasn't been placed on the market yet.
The Advertiser has reached out to Balneario several times for comment.
