TRAINS to and from Helensburgh have been cancelled after a lorry struck level crossing barriers.
Network Rail engineers have been called to Cardross after an HGV struck the barriers on September 9.
The operator said it would work with police to remove the vehicle before assessing the damage and carrying out repairs.
ScotRail said no trains are running through the area, with services between Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh terminating and starting at Dumbarton Central.
They have since confirmed that replacement buses are currently being sourced for passengers.
A spokesperson said: "We have reports of a lorry striking the barriers on Cardross crossing, meaning we are unable to run trains through the area.
"Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Fort William/Oban may also be delayed.
"We'll keep you updated."
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
