THE results for the European election have been coming in from across Scotland.
The Scottish National Party (SNP) has come out on top so far, with Nigel Farage's Brexit Party second.
Scotland has yet to declare a result as the Western Isles prepares to announce its results at around 11am - a move which is not likely to change the outcome.

Scotland's six new MEPs will be the SNP's Alyn Smith, Christian Allard and Aileen McLeod, Louis Stedman-Bruce of the Brexit Party, Sheila Ritchie of the Liberal Democrats and Baroness Nosheena Mobarik of the Conservatives.

In Scotland, the SNP won very comfortably. They improved on their 2014 showing and look as though they could be picking up a third MEP.

The Brexit Party had large gains throughout Scotland.
