The competition was a two day event that produced some great results from the 23 swimmers that participated with Helensburgh enjoying fantastic swims with 102 personal best times, 14 gold, 11 silver and six bronze medals. There were gold medals from Gail Craig in the 100m and 200m freestyle, Marcus Hill in the 200m breaststroke and individual medley, Alexander Johnson in the 100m butterfly and individual medley, Jon Law in the 200m butterfly. 200m freestyle and 100m back stroke, Jake Miller in the 50m breaststroke, butterfly and 100m butterfly and Peter Swigciski in the 50m butterfly and back stroke.

Silver medals were achieved by Rachel Fraser in the 200m individual medley, Angus Gilmour in the 50m freestyle, Robert Humphries in the 200m breaststroke, Alexander Johnson in the 50m backstroke and butterfly, 100m freestyle and backstroke, Jon Law in the 200m back stroke and 100m butterfly, Alex MacFarlane in the 200m backstroke and for Jake Miller in the 50m backstroke.

The six bronze medals were won by Rachel Fraser in the 50m butterfly, Marcus Hill in the 100m butterfly, Robert Humphries in the 200m back stroke, Alexander Johnson in the 50m freestyle and Jon Law in the 100m freestyle and in the 200m individual medley.

There were also some excellent personal best times shown by all the swimmers but those that really excelled in the improvement of their times were Callum Adam taking off 12.91 seconds in the 100m individual medley, Rachel Fraser taking off 9.04 in the 200m individual medley, Fabio Giarchi reducing his 50m back stroke time by 10.88 seconds, Angus Gilmour knocking 8.11 seconds off in the 100m butterfly, Emily Miller taking off 9.62 seconds also in the 100m butterfly, Connor McKillop taking off 9.17 seconds in the 50m butterfly.

Meanwhile Joel Miller took a whopping 15.37 seconds off in the 100m individual medley, Catriona Stewart cut 12.23 seconds also in the 100m individual, but Robert Humphries certainly stole the show in terms of personal best times by taking off an incredible 49.72 seconds in the 200m breaststroke.
