RAY SMITH and David Kennedy won the penultimate round of the Frostbite competition at Helensburgh Golf Club with 25 points apiece.

The pair finished on top out of 40 players, while Johnny Boult, Alistair McKenzie, Ian Porter and Ed Somerville all had 24 points.

Ian Harrington was the winner of the first prize in the scorecard raffle; winning three Titleist NXT Tour balls, a Titleist glove and a four-ball at the Carrick.

The second prize of a four-ball at the Carrick was won by Donald Fraser.

Another £20 was added to the hole-in-one pot fund this week with the prize going unclaimed, with the total hole-in-one kitty now standing at a huge £345.

Going into the final round David Kennedy topped the leaderboard with an average score of 24 points.

He is closely followed by Ian Porter on 23 points.

And there is a large chasing pack of Bob Berry, Dave Allan, George Cairns and Craig MacPhee closely behind, with all four players sitting joint third on on 22 points and waiting to pounce on any slip-ups by the leaders in the final week.
