GOLFERS in Helensburgh are being urged to make sure they don’t miss out as the Scottish Golf Show prepares for its return to Glasgow.

Now in its 13th year, the hugely popular annual event is at the SEC Glasgow between Friday, March 23 and Sunday, March 25.

And with record numbers of pre-booked tickets already sold, organisers are calling this the ‘biggest and most impressive show in our history’.

With all the big names in golf set to attend the show, visitors can expect to book free lessons with PGA professionals, shop the latest in golf clothing and equipment and even have the chance to rub shoulders with some of Scotland’s top tour professionals; including 1999 Open champion and two-time Ryder Cup star Paul Lawrie, who will officially open the show.

There will be ample opportunity for guests to show off their skills with a mixture of challenges designed to suit everyone from amateurs to golf professionals. You can take some practice swings in the enormous 30-bay driving range or even get competitive with your friends and family when you take aim at the gigantic Ladbrokes Golf Darts board.

Paul Grant, Managing Director of show organisers PSP Media Group, said: “The Scottish Golf Show has been so well received in previous years and every year we return with more and more for visitors to see and do. There is such a buzz around the show this year and we really are gearing up for this to be the best Scottish Golf Show in our history.”

Pre-booking your tickets for just £10 – a saving of 50 per cent on the on-the-door price – gets you not only entry to the event, but also three free rounds of golf from a selection of 19 Scottish courses. Pre-book at thescottishgolfshow.co.uk.
