FORMER Hermitage Academy pupil Hannah Rankin says she's "gutted" after her historic Commonwealth title fight was postponed.
The 27-year-old, who grew up in Luss, was due to fight Julie Tshabalala at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley on April 7 for the vacant Commonwealth super-welterweight belt.
But she announced on social media last week that the fight – the first female Commonwealth title contest on British soil – had been postponed due to "visa issues".
It will now take place on Saturday, June 16.
On her Twitter feed Rankin said: "Gutted to announce my fight has been postponed due to visa issues. All tickets will be honoured for the later date but just get in touch if you need a refund.
"At least we've got a new date sorted. Will refocus and work towards June!"
