Football and rugby returns after festive season
TWO Helensburgh-based clubs are back in sporting action this weekend after the festive season.
Ardencaple face a tough away trip to top of the table Fallin in Stirling on Saturday, with Caple looking to climb the Central Scottish Amateur Football League Division 1B. The match at St Modan's High School kicks off at 2pm.
Meanwhile, Helensburgh Rugby Club have a short trip to Clydebank for their West Regional Division 2 fixture against the side currently sitting five places above them in the table. That match kicks off at 3pm.
Both Rhu Amateurs and Helensburgh FC have the weekend off before returning to league action and you can keep up to date with future fixtures in next week's Advertiser.
