ARDENCAPLE Football Club held a presentation evening for the top performers in the club’s ‘small sided football’ squads at Hermitage Academy on Friday evening.

Former Celtic player, Dumbarton manager and Scotland international Murdo MacLeod, a long-standing supporter of Caple’s work and ambassador for the club, came along to present team and individual awards to players in the club’s four, five and seven-a-side age group squads, in age groups from 2007 to 2012, for the 2018 season, which finished at the end of November.

Children’s entertainer Samantha also came along to keep all the youngsters and their parents entertained during the evening.

Club coach Euan Birss said: “Ardencaple would like to thank all our coaches for giving up their time to work with our young players, and all our sponsors for their support for the club.”

Caple vice-chairman Robert Holland added: “Murdo MacLeod, and our honorary president Walter Smith, are great supporters of Ardencaple, and we are very grateful to them for giving up their time whenever they can to support our players and the work we do.”
