Thirteen ladies from Druids Curling Club descended on North West Castle in Stranraer for a curling break – but the number proved anything but unlucky as all those involved had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Playing mainly in teams of three, everyone was given the opportunity of trying out all the positions in each team, and even those who normally play skips had to do some sweeping.
The winning team was Roberta Lees, Marilyn McMeeking and Gill Rogers. President Isabel Bone thanked Marilyn for her work in organising the trip.
