STEPHEN Lewis and Ann McKelvie took the honours in Helensburgh Tennis Club’s new year ‘Hangover Tournament’ last Friday.
In reasonably kind weather conditions, a ‘round robin’ format saw the highest scoring couples fight it out in the final, where Stephen’s serving power and speed around the court made the difference for him and Ann against opponents Cathy Court and Fiona MacLaren.

President Keith Love presented the prizes afterwards and thanked all for taking part before joining the participants for refreshments in the clubhouse.
